Our expert tutors and comprehensive course materials guarantee a dynamic and practical learning experience, and we are committed to helping improve competency and professional ethics across the fire sector through delivery of up-to-date, relevant and practical training courses.

Our Story

Founded in 2022 by Joe Hart, the Delta Innovation Group was established with a clear vision—to strengthen the connection between industry and academia in the fire sector. We believe that cutting-edge research, real-world application, and industry best practice must work together to drive innovation, enhance safety, and ensure quality of teaching to help protect the community we seek to protect with our work.

Joe Hart has played an active role in fire engineering education, having held a teaching position at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN), where he contributed to the development of both undergraduate and postgraduate fire engineering programmes. His experience in teaching, mentoring, and applied research has shaped the Delta Innovation Group's commitment to knowledge-sharing and professional development, alongside building an industry-leading fire engineering and Fire Risk Assessment practice with Delta Fire Engineering Ltd.

Building on this foundation, we are now channeling our expertise into in-house regulated training courses, designed to provide comprehensive, industry-focused fire safety education. Our training programmes ensure that professionals across the fire sector — from early-career engineers to experienced consultants — have access to the latest advancements, regulatory updates, and best practice in fire engineering.

• Passionate about Innovation: Novel training approaches have been adopted in the development of all programmes including use of the Delta Innovation Group's live testing facilities and, where possible, innovative teaching technology such as Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) where this will assist the learner.
